Children’s museum of Tacoma

The whole family will enjoy the children’s museum of Tacoma. There are plenty of activities for the kids. Kids can climb the tree house, join in on making an art project, or play with building blocks. There is also the submarine, boats, airplanes and nature to explore. You can help the kids grow up in old fashion clothes, read a book or wonder through all the little nooks of the room. The room has plenty of sitting areas around the windows and staff to help the children keep their interest in learning about all the different activities.I was looking for more information and found it here. The museum is free but a donation is greatly appreciated.

Washington State History Museum

Everyone will enjoy learning about the history of the State of Washington from the staff of characters who talk about the past events of Washington. There is storytelling, exhibits that you can interact with, and artifacts that will teach you all about the unique people and places of Washington. The museum itself is an architectural design of beautiful archways, textures and colors.

Other points of interest for the whole family would be the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and the Tacoma Glassblowing Studio. Everyone in the family will be able to find things they enjoy doing while visiting Tacoma.
